The federal trial began in late February, with jury deliberations starting on Wednesday. Court documents from the 14th day of trial stated that the prosecution’s arguments in the case ended on Tuesday. District Judge Thomas A. Varlan also granted a motion to dismiss 11 of the 21 charges against Haney, Warren and Roper Tuesday.

The Rocky Hill Pharmacy was raided by the FBI in April 2024. Prosecutors claimed that Haney, Warren and Roper altered or forged prescriptions for medications that were not prescribed by licensed health care providers and used those prescriptions to defraud government health care programs and commercial insurance companies out of millions of dollars.
