Sinus infections, allergies on the rise as weather shifts in the Tennessee Valley

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WAFF) – The swing from warm temperatures to high winds and snow this weekend may be behind a rise in sinus infections and allergy cases across the Tennessee Valley, according to a local nurse practitioner.

Christopher Finch, a nurse practitioner at Five Points Family Medicine, said drastically changing temperatures have contributed to an increase in patients presenting with sinus and allergy symptoms.
