Nearly a dozen suspicious devices “resembling military ordnance” were determined to be inert after they were spotted along a Tennessee waterway on Thursday, authorities said.
The Anderson County Sheriff’s Office said that at around 2:30 p.m. Thursday, a fisherman reported finding what appeared to be a piece of military ordnance along the shoreline near Bull Run Park in Clinton.
Deputies responded to the scene along with the Knox County Bomb Squad and secured the area to conduct a thorough search. They found several additional devices that also appeared to resemble military explosives…
