🚨 ‘Operation Hands Free’ Launches April 1 Across Tennessee

On April 1 at 10 a.m., the Tennessee Highway Safety Office and Tennessee Highway Patrol will kick off ‘Operation Hands Free’, a statewide effort to enforce Tennessee’s Hands-Free Law during National Distracted Driving Awareness Month. Press events and enforcement bus tours will take place in Nashville, Memphis, Chattanooga, and Knoxville.

Under state law (T.C.A. § 55-8-199), it’s illegal for drivers to hold a phone or mobile device with any part of their body. Violations can add points to your driving record. Learn more about the law and distracted-driving data at HandsFreeTN.com
