A former Oak Ridge police officer has pleaded guilty to 23 counts of official misconduct.
Although no details of the actions behind the charges filed against 35-year-old Zachary D. Gauthier were given, Anderson County District Attorney Gemeral Dave Clark described them as non-violent.
The Knoxville man pleaded guilty to the felony charges on March 23. He received a sentence of one to two years on each of the 23 counts but will serve only 48 hours with the rest of the sentence to be suspended to supervised probation with judicial diversion once his probationary period is completed…
