KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) — On Sunday, the Knoxville Fire Department said it extinguished a “large brush fire” at the 3800 block of Pleasant Ridge Road.
KFD posted about the fire at 3:45 p.m., saying it was on the scene. At 4:23, it said the fire was out. The department also shared photos.

This comes after two unrelated wildfires were reported in the Smokies. As of the last update on Saturday, the fires were 112 and 48 acres and were partially contained.
