‘This is awesome!’ Knox County Mayor Jacobs, Josh Dobbs to serve as Food City 500 dignitaries

BRISTOL, Tenn. (WATE) — Knox County Mayor Glenn Jacobs plans to serve as the Grand Marshal for the Food City 500 race, while VFL Josh Dobbs will be the event’s Honorary Starter.

“This is awesome!” Jacobs said. “I’m honored to serve as Grand Marshal and be a part of the unforgettable atmosphere that makes the Food City 500 one of the best events in motorsports.”

The race is scheduled for April 12 at the Bristol Motor Speedway.
