KNOX COUNTY, Tenn. (WATE) — An annual report from the Tennessee Advisory Commission on Intergovernmental Relations (TACIR) says Knox County needs more than $2 billion for transportation infrastructure improvements.
The report looks at improvement projects that are in some stage of development, whether that’s conceptual, planning and design, or completed, in a five-year period. This year’s report covers the time between July 2024 and June 2029.
