Knox Co. District Attorney, KPD tout success in ‘313 Initiative,’ point to reduced overdose deaths

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Law enforcement leaders in Knox County said a multi-agency effort targeting a drug pipeline along Interstate 75 is showing results, with overdose deaths dropping significantly in recent years.

“I think it’s been very, very successful and continues to be,” Knox County District Attorney General Charme Allen said.
