SOUTH KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) – Knoxville has been named one of the best cities in the country to ride your bike in by the International Mountain Bicycling Association. Bikers at Baker Creek Preserve told 6 News what their favorite part of the trail is.
“I came out a couple weeks ago and went mountain biking for the first time in my entire life, and I absolutely fell in love with it,” said Laura Haynes. “I rented a bike at the shop here at Bear Paws, and within a week I went and bought one. I got, I got this one, I found it used and I’ve been hitting the trails every few days. “
Laura Haynes, who went biking with her daughter Maple, benefit from public bike trails. Visit Knoxville said those trails are a boon to the community.
