KCSO: Armed suspect arrested after hours-long standoff

KNOX COUNTY, Tenn. — The Knox County Sheriff’s Office said deputies arrested a suspect who fired shots at them while responding to a possible domestic shots-fired call early Friday morning.

KCSO said deputies were called to a home near the intersection of Roberts Road and Millertown Pike just after midnight following an argument that ensued after a concert. When they arrived, deputies said multiple shots were fired at them by the suspect.

KCSO said SWAT team was called in, a standoff ensued and the suspect was taken into custody at 4 a.m…
