Knoxville Saturday forecast: Warm and sunny

Well-above-average temperatures for this weekend and into next week. Some records will be in jeopardy.

  • Today: Warm with just a few clouds around in the afternoon. High: 81°.
  • Tonight: Mostly clear and calm with some isolated areas of fog developing late. Low: 53°.
  • Sunday: Some early fog, otherwise, partly cloudy, breezy, and very warm with a near-record high. High: 85° (Record: 87°/1930).

There will be an abundance of outdoor activities this weekend, including the Orange and White game and Chalk Walk on Saturday, along with the Covenant Knoxville Marathon on Sunday, and the weather looks fantastic, but more like May or June as opposed to April.

It will remain mostly sunny today, with afternoon highs near 80°. Expect light winds, elevated UV index, and high pollen count.

We will see a few more upper-level clouds roll in overnight tonight, and it will be mainly calm and milder, but watch for a few areas of fog to develop that could be locally dense towards daybreak. It should remain an isolated hazard…
