KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — The Knoxville Police Department said a motorcyclist was killed after a crash on Clinton Highway Monday.
Officers responded to the intersection of Clinton Highway and Tillery Drive around 11 a.m. It’s believed the motorcyclist was driving south on Clinton Highway while a GMC SUV was traveling east on Tillery Drive.
The 67-year-old motorcyclist allegedly ran a red light and hit the side of the SUV as it was crossing through the intersection. After the initial crash, the SUV hit another car, causing minor damage, according to KPD…
