OAK RIDGE, Tenn. (April 23, 2026) — A portion of the Melton Lake Greenway will be temporarily closed as the City of Oak Ridge begins scheduled maintenance work next month.
Officials with the Oak Ridge Recreation and Parks Department, working alongside the Public Works Department, say improvements will take place from May 4 through May 15.
The affected stretch runs between Rivers Run Boulevard and the Edgemoor Road Bridge, and will be closed to all pedestrian and recreational traffic during the work period to ensure public safety…
