University of Tennessee associate professor on paid leave after being charged with aggravated domestic assault

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — An associate professor of marketing at the University of Tennessee was placed on paid administrative leave after being arrested and charged with a felony, according to a letter from the university.

Jonathan Ramsey Hasford, 41, is charged with aggravated domestic assault. According to a warrant, he is accused of choking a woman until she could not breathe.
