KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Knox County property owners may get a jolt this week in the mail.
New appraisal notices are going out from the Property Assessor’s Office. They show a sharp increase in commercial and residential property values — about 60 percent overall, according to Knox County finance director Chris Caldwell and Knox County Property Assessor Phil Ballard.
