Gas Prices In Lafayette Give Locals A Reason To Choose This Day to Fill Up

(KMDL-FM) Mention the city of Lafayette, Louisiana, and chances are someone will mention music. Someone else might mention food. Someone who lives in and around Lafayette will mention traffic. Because, like Mexican restaurants and carwashes, it’s on every street corner we pass.

If there’s one thing we know about all of those cars that are on the same streets we’re trying to drive down, it’s that they all need fuel.

And I think it’s a pretty safe bet to say that none of the drivers behind the wheels of those automobiles are looking at how much it’s going to cost for their next fill-up. But they are all looking for inside information on how to get the most bang for their gas-buying buck.

Believe it or not, there is some science and some economic theory that goes into knowing which day is a better day for you to fill up your vehicle compared to other days. It does make sense when you stop and think about it. First, let’s look at how much we’re spending on fuel these days.
