ORANGE COUNTY — A blowout on a three-wheeled motorcycle along Interstate 10 in Orange County turned deadly late this morning, killing a man and a woman, according to Texas Department of Public Safety Sgt. Shana Clark.
DPS is investigating a crash on Interstate 10 East near the 868 mile marker. The preliminary investigation indicates that at about 10:40 a.m. today, a Honda three-wheeled motorcycle towing a small trailer was traveling east when it sustained a blowout on the rear tire and struck the concrete barrier. DPS said the driver and his passenger were ejected.
The driver, identified as a 71-year-old man from Duson, Louisiana, died at the scene. His passenger, a 69-year-old woman, was taken to a nearby hospital, where she died…
