ST. LANDRY PARISH, La. (KLFY) — What may look like an ordinary pile of dirt could play an important role in flood protection efforts in St. Landry Parish.
Parish officials have staged the dirt near Three Mile Lake as they prepare for the possibility of rising water in the coming days.
