Two people were injured in a shooting Tuesday evening after an earlier disturbance at an Abbeville restaurant, police said.
Officers initially responded about 4:30 p.m. to Popeyes, 501 Veterans Memorial Drive, after receiving a report of customers fighting. When officers arrived, they found Xavion Broussard and Anayla Williams involved in a verbal altercation. The restaurant manager asked that the parties leave, and they went their separate ways, according to the Abbeville Police Department.
