The Lafayette Parish Planning Commission approved an 180-lot townhome development in Milton.
The project, identified as Milton Commons, will stretch from E. Broussard Road to Picard Road just north of Julie Drive. The approval comes after several residents voiced concerns over traffic, flooding and impact on local schools in the increasingly congested community.
