ST, LANDRY PARISH, LA. (KLFY) — The Opelousas Police Department are investigating a theft which occurred at Billy’s Lawn Service, police said.
During the investigation it was learned that a Stihl MS 881 chainsaw, valued at $ 2,679.99 was stolen from Billy’s Lawn Service located at 5281 South Service Road in Opelousas on June 30. police reported.
Surveillance video shows two male suspects inside the store, police said. The footage depicts the suspect allegedly attempting to distract the employees while the second suspect allegedly removing the chainsaw from the display, carried it to a four-door Volvo parked outside and immediately left…
