ST. LANDRY, La. (KLFY)– St. Landry Parish officials are increasing enforcement to combat persistent illegal dumping at designated dump sites, which occurs despite established operational hours. The problem has led authorities to coordinate with multiple agencies for ticketing and prosecution of offenders.
The parish’s dump sites are specifically operational every Thursday and on the second Tuesday of each month, with services available until 6 p.m. However, illegal dumping frequently takes place outside of these designated days and hours.
