BATON ROUGE – Just a few days before classes get started at LSU for the Fall semester, LSU volleyball won its scrimmage against UL-Lafayette 3-1. The Tigers won the first three sets, which would be a 3-0 sweep under normal circumstances, but the two teams played a fourth set, which the Ragin’ Cajuns won.
The LSU roster showed a glimpse of what should be an interesting squad to watch when the regular season starts for real. All-SEC first-teamer Jurnee Robinson showed off her ability to rack up kills as she heads into year four in Baton Rouge, and the Tiger frontline was a constant thorn in the Cajuns’ side.
