Students in the Lafayette Parish School System (LPSS) will have a variety of breakfast and lunch options during the week of Sept. 8-11, including pizza, soft tacos, meatloaf and chili dogs.
Here’s what’s on the school menu Tuesday through Friday:
Tuesday, Sept. 8
- Breakfast: Confetti pancakes, watermelon, raisins and a choice of juice.
- Lunch: Pepperoni pizza, pizza sauce, tossed salad, green beans and fruit cocktail.
Wednesday, Sept. 9
- Breakfast: Breakfast bar, blueberries, red apple, applesauce and a choice of juice.
- Lunch: Beef soft tacos, salsa cup, refried beans, lettuce and tomato cup, and a red apple.
Thursday, Sept. 10
- Breakfast: Ham-and-egg combo bar, tangerines, and a choice of juice.
- Lunch: Meatloaf with gravy, mashed potatoes, a 2-ounce dinner roll, broccoli with cheese and diced pears.
Friday, Sept. 11
- Breakfast: Maple waffle, mixed berries, raisins and a choice of juice.
- Lunch: Hot dog with chili, French fries, carrot sticks with ranch dip and a banana.
