BATON ROUGE, LA. (KLFY) — A Lafayette woman took home the Lotto Jackpot Prize after purchasing a winning ticket at Super 1 Foods, according to the Louisiana Lottery Corporation.
After purchasing her ticket from the Super 1 Foods #641 located at 2240 Ambassador Caffery Parkway in Lafayette, Susan Savoie of Lafayette took home $2,754,421.40 (after state and federal tax withholdings.)
“Louisiana Lottery retailers are always excited when they sell THE big winning ticket,” said Lottery Lafayette Regional Manager Amanda Capdeboscq. “The Super 1 team put up a banner and lots of flyers near the registers so their regulars would know they are a lucky spot.”…
