IBERIA PARISH, La. (KLFY) — An Iberia Parish man was arrested early Wednesday morning after finding him at a business in the 1900 block of Diver Drive at 3 a.m. on Wednesday, officials said.
Jeremy Lopez, 46, faces charges of simple burglary and an outstanding warrant following a joint search by the Iberia Parish Sheriff’s Office and the New Iberia Police Department.
Deputies responded to the property after receiving reports of suspicious activity. Upon arrival, officers found an unoccupied 2006 GMC Sierra near the business and searched the premises, where they discovered a wagon containing tools inside one of the buildings, officials said…
