NEW IBERIA, La. (KLFY) — A former Bacmonila Garden Apartments tenant says conflicting records nearly prevented her and her children from securing another home after their court-ordered eviction.
The new allegation comes as News 10 continues investigating complaints involving the New Iberia apartment complex. News 10 has received nearly 100 calls from current and former tenants during the past four days.
Former tenant Deadrienne Allen says she recently discovered paperwork from the complex claiming she left voluntarily on Aug. 5. That account conflicts with New Iberia City Court records showing Bacmonila Gardens obtained an eviction judgment against Allen nearly two weeks earlier…
