Tropical System Could Put a Damper on UL Homecoming Plans

(KMDL-FM) If you ask people in South Louisiana if this has been a busy tropical season, they might say yes. Louisiana has been affected by three named storms this tropical season; none of them were hurricanes, but they were named tropical storms.

It looks like another named tropical storm will bring inclement weather to our state by midweek, especially over the weekend. This weather scenario is actually good news for Louisiana. The tropical system in question is known as Hurricane Polo.
