Original Story: LAKE CHARLES, La. ( KLFY ) — A vehicle fire on the Calcasieu River Bridge has caused a lane closure on I-10 westbound.
The Department of Transportation and Development has reported the closure of the right lane on I-10 west bound due to a vehicle fire.

The incident occurred around 8:11 p.m. Monday night. It is unknown if any injuries have occurred in the incident.
Authorities advise staying clear of the bridge going west bound, and to use alternative routes.
