A juvenile suspect has been arrested in a late December shooting that killed a 30-year-old Lafayette man, the Lafayette Police Department said. The 16-year-old boy turned himself over to officers Monday and was booked into the Lafayette Juvenile Detention Home on a count of second-degree murder. The teen is accused in the Dec. 30 shooting of Rickey Bernard Jr. in the 100 block of Ancelet Street, Lafayette Police spokesperson Sgt. Robin Green said.
