Rouses Markets on Thursday unveiled its newest Lafayette Parish store, a 55,000-square-foot outlet at the corner of Camellia Boulevard and Verot School Road. Despite lingering rain, a crowd showed up at 8 a.m. Thursday as company officials and others cut the ribbon on the store that includes a Rouse Barrel House, a bourbon destination for bourbon lovers in the region, and what is billed as the largest beer, wine and spirits selection in Lafayette.
