LAFAYETTE, La. – The victim from Friday night’s hit and run has succumbed to his injuries sustained as a result of the crash. The victim has been identified as Daniel Ben, 39, of Lafayette. In addition, an arrest has been made in regards to this incident. The suspect, Lani Richard, 44, of Lafayette, has been arrested and booked into Lafayette Parish Correctional Center on the charges of one count of felony hit and run.
