Deputies with the Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s Office said a shooting Tuesday night in the Duson area injured one person and resulted in the arrest of another. According to deputies, Bill Garcia, 39, was arrested on charges of aggravated second-degree battery, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and obstruction of justice.
