Popular convenience store’s plans for Lafayette location hits snag with LCG

Construction of a convenience store owned by one of the most popular chains in the country has hit a snag with Lafayette Consolidated Government. Oklahoma-based QuikTrip is appealing a decision from LCG’s community development and planning department that what it is planning for the northwest corner of Interstate 10 and Louisiana Avenue is a truck stop, which is not allowed under the property’s current zoning.
