I-49 southbound back open after early-morning Carencro crash, one death reported

ORIGINAL STORY: CARENCRO, La. ( KLFY ) — A crash on I-49 in Carencro has caused major congestion for southbound traffic, authorities said.

State Police said they are working a crash on I-49 south near Exit 7 in Carencro. Traffic is being diverted from Exit 7 and drivers are getting back on I-49 at Exit 4, officials said.
