Low pressure has now moved northeast of the area, giving us northerly flow. We could still see a few more showers overnight tonight, but the moisture will be moving out of the area starting tomorrow and continuing through Tuesday and Wednesday.
Clouds will steadily clear throughout the day tomorrow. Northerly winds will be strong, in the 10-20 mph range, tomorrow afternoon. After a chilly start in the upper 40s, highs only achieve the lower 60s tomorrow afternoon.
Chilly starts are expected on Tuesday and Wednesday, with readings in the lower 40s. Each afternoon, under mostly sunny skies, temperatures will reach the mid-upper 60s!
Southwesterly flow returns by Thursday and Friday in response to an approaching trough. This will bring moisture back into the area. A weak front will stall across the region Friday through Sunday, keeping rain chances in the forecast. Rain chances could increase steadily beginning Friday and continuing through Saturday and Sunday. Highs Thursday through Sunday will reach the low-mid 70s with morning starts moderating into the 60s.
