Lacey Fletcher’s parents admit role in daughter’s death after she was found ‘melted’ into couch & covered in maggots

THE parents of a woman who was found melted in their feces-covered couch have pleaded no contest to manslaughter charges.

Lacey Fletcher, 36, was found dead on a sofa at her parents Clay and Sheila Fletcher’s house in Slaughter, Louisiana, about 20 miles north of Baton Rouge, on January 3, 2022.

Clay and Sheila, who were facing life in prison, changed their pleas nearly two years after details of their grim negligence of their daughter were revealed.

The couple agreed to plead guilty to manslaughter after deciding to withdraw their previous not-guilty pleas to second-degree murder, according to the Daily Mail.

East Feliciana Parish District Attorney Sam D’Aquilla called for the parents to be jailed immediately after entering their guilty pleas.
