Gunfire rang out at a Lafayette nightclub late Sunday, sending people running for their lives. When that gunfire ended, two people were wounded, including the suspected gunman, who was shot by police. It happened at the “Hide and Seek” nightclub along the Evangeline Thruway in north Lafayette around 11 p.m., where one person was shot inside, and when police arrived on scene, an officer shot the gunman outside the club.
