LOREAUVILLE, La. ( KLFY ) — An ATM machine at a Loreauville bank was stolen but later recovered by authorities, according to the Iberia Parish Sheriff’s Office.
IPSO said they responded to an ATM alarm at Community First Bank located in the 300 block of North Main Street in the village of Loreauville around 3 a.m. on Feb. 2.
Lafayette Police search for carjacking suspects
Upon arrival, officials said it was determined that a vehicle was used to forcefully remove the ATM machine from the bank’s property. The ATM machine and vehicle were both later recovered on Ed Broussard Road.
IPSO said their Office Bureau of Investigation detectives are actively investigating the incident.
