ST. MARTIN PARISH, La. ( KLFY ) — A woman spoke with News 10 after the incident where she started a fight on a school bus between her daughter and another student. Christi Thomas stopped by the station to get her side of the story out.
Thomas said she accepts she was in the wrong, but felt she needed to take matters into her own hands after her child continued to get bullied.

“I let you mess with my child for too long,” Thomas said.
Thomas claims her daughter was continuously getting bullied by the girl on the school bus and at school. She said after multiple attempts of reaching out to the school, the bus driver and the girl’s parent, Thomas said enough is enough. Since the incident, Thomas said she is being harassed by the community with claims that she hit the child on the bus. She said video evidence shows that is not true.
