Father heartbroken after discovering his dead son’s belongings were stolen

ST. MARTINVILLE, La. ( KLFY )– Gary Prince said personal items from his deceased son, Jordan Prince, were stolen from a storage unit just a few months ago. He said its been a difficult time for him and his family since it happened.

Surveillance footage from City Stor and Loc in St. Martinville shows two people stealing items from their unit. Prince said most of their items, including a milk crate full of game cameras owned by his son were stolen. According to the business owners, there were two instances where locks were broken, but this is the first burglary to take place. Prince said his family’s heart is in pieces.

“Its so very sad that people would go and rummage through your memories,” Prince said. “It broke our heart all over again.”

Prince said its been almost a decade since his son passed, and ever since, nothing has been the same.
