Suspect indicted in 2022 Camille Angelle hit-and-run case

ST. MARTINVILLE, La. ( KLFY ) — The man accused of killing 42-year-old Camille Angelle in a hit-and-run crash in Breaux Bridge in 2022 has been indicted for the crime.

Ryan Robicheaux was indicted by a grand jury in the 16th Judicial District Court of the charge of negligent homicide.

Angelle was found dead in a ditch on South Poydras Street in Breaux Bridge on Aug. 13, 2022. According to the indictment, Robicheaux hit her with his vehicle as she was walking alongside the road and left her there.

Robicheaux faces up to five years in prison and a fine of up to $5,000 if convicted.
