OPELOUSAS, La. ( KLFY )– One person was injured in a shooting in the 900 block of North Market Street in Opelousas.
The Opelousas Police Department responded to the incident around 5:12 p.m. Wednesday. Authorities said the victim in the shooting sustained moderate injuries but was transported to the hospital and is now in stable condition.
This is an ongoing investigation. More information will be shared when made available.
