UPDATE, 8/28/24, 11:15 a.m.: Traffic is moving again on westbound I-10. As seen on DOTD’s traffic cameras , the crash site was cleared and all lanes are back open.
ORIGINAL STORY: HENDERSON, La. ( KLFY ) — Traffic on westbound I-10 is at a standstill after a series of crashes on the Basin Bridge this morning.
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development said all westbound lanes are blocked at mile marker 152 near the Lobdell exit.
This comes after an earlier crash on westbound I-10 near the La. 347 exit at mile marker 119. That crash has since been cleared, DOTD said.
