NEW IBERIA, La. (KLFY) – The eruption of gunfire outside a home in New Iberia late Sunday has left three young children without a mother. Dewanna Broussard, 31, was one of two people whose lives were taken at the end of Sofas Street. The other is 36-year-old Kasey Egbi, also of New Iberia, who is attributed by Sofas Street residents of saving the life of a third victim.
