Fans of all-you-can-eat sushi and live hibachi were disappointed this month to learn that Sawa, which opened in Lafayette on June 12, had closed its doors. At first the restaurant shared a temporary notice of closure, citing the need for maintenance and staff training. But now, one of the restaurant’s co-owners has shared that the business is closed for good, due to unforeseen circumstances.
