The company behind the two charter schools in Lafayette Parish will open another school in Broussard for the 2025-26 school year. City officials in Broussard announced the school’s approval from the Louisiana Board of Elementary and Secondary Education for Lafayette Charter Foundation, which operates Lafayette Renaissance Charter Academy in north Lafayette and Acadiana Renaissance Charter Academy in Youngsville.
