A developer who has bought multiple buildings in downtown Lafayette in recent years is being sued after a deal for a Jefferson Street building failed to materialize. Ravi Daggula is facing a lawsuit by the owners of the old BellSouth building at 1001 Jefferson St. after entering into an agreement to buy the building for $1.3 million two years ago but failing to appear at the scheduled closing for the property.
