When Church Point native Nick Dooley fell in love with wine, it had a lot to do with the total experience that the perfect glass of wine offers. Wine, when paired with a celebration, has the power to set a certain tone. People tend to dress up when they know they’re about to try a great bottle of wine. They expect soft lighting, good food, and ideally, engaging company. That’s why Dooley loves being a freelance, at-home sommelier and chef: he’s a people person, and knows that a big part of his job is crafting an environment that helps his clients experience and enjoy wine the way he does.
